Calvin R. Wulf is an ordained minister and a gifted spiritual director. His style is relational, in the manner of Jesus and the apostles, with a focus on knowing the person of Christ and experiencing his dwelling within each believer. He has a passion for guiding people into a deeper walk with Jesus.
Calvin is a strong yet gentle guide for the journey in Christ. He possesses a keen discernment of the movement of God in a disciple's life. He embraces a broad cross section of Christian denominations and traditions making him an exceptional guide for your unique spiritual journey.
He is also deeply knowledgeable and personally experienced in the ancient 
Christian spiritual disciplines as Jesus and the apostles practiced them. He has extensively studied other classic Christian spiritual customs along with the writings of the desert fathers.
Calvin is available for spiritual direction in person for those who live in or near Colorado Springs , Colorado or by phone for those who live farther away. After a complimentary exploratory session, a $50 donation to Living for God is requested for each monthly session. The relationship is not "fee based" but a donation is requested in order to keep this aspect of ministry available.

What's a Spiritual Director?
A spiritual director is like a life coach who gently guides you along the path of your unique spiritual journey and helps you experience the revelation of Christ
within. As Dr. Bruce Demarest defines it, "Spiritual direction refers to the ministry of soul care in which a gifted and experienced Christian helps another person to grow in relationship with and obedience to God by following the example of Jesus Christ." The Gospels give us vivid illustrations of Jesus as a spiritual director to his disciples.
A gifted spiritual director is a physician of souls, helping them to find Jesus in the joys and trials of life. Because of "our wounds, we need a spiritual director who is indeed an expert and a physician," writes John of the Ladder, abbot of Mount Sinai who died in the year 603. Spiritual direction facilitates and accelerates the formation of Christ within the Christian disciple.
